Historique :	Ce chronomètre de marine à double barillet, monté à la Cardan, faisait partie du quotidien des navigateurs du 19e siècle. Ce type d'instrument a été mis au point en 1815 par l'horloger français A.L. Breguet, fondateur à Paris de la manufacture Breguet.
