Précision_sur la representation :	Sainte Anne est assise sur un tabouret et tient de la main dextre une grande tablette d'écitures posée en appui sur sa cuisse senestre. Cette tablette fait écho aux Tables de la Loi de l'ancien testament tant dans sa forme arrondie que par le texte du Décalogue qui s'y trouve gravé : 'Seul Dieu tu adoreras...'. La Vierge se tient debout à côté de sa mère et se penche sur la tablette qu'elle déchiffre de son index dextre. Le visage de saint Anne est penché vers son enfant et sa main libre est posée sur la hanche de celle-ci. Sainte Anne porte une longue robe ceinturée sous les seins et des sandales. Sa tête est couverte d'un long voile à bordure dentelée qui recouvre ses bras et enveloppe ses genoux. La Vierge est vêtue d'une robe longue et d'une tunique courte agrafée sur les épaules. Ses cheveux mi-longs forment des boucles en tombant sur la nuque. Les deux personnages sont disposés sur une petite estrade cruciforme.
